Update || My 20s Project

I added my final two goals (and fixed an error on an older one), to my 20s project.

  • Think of a really great, unique halloween costume, and make it myself.
  • Eat 5 new foods (or meals) I’ve never tried before (ie: étouffer, mexican hot cocoa, ect).

I now have 20 goals (minus the one I’ve accomplished), to complete in the next six and a half years. Yepp, time is running out, so I better get on it ;)

I love having lists of things to accomplish, it makes me feel as if I have more control over my life, and I love being to cross goals off lists!

Update || My 20s Project

Today marked the day I crossed off one of my goals for the 20s project. I was recently lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in my bff’s wedding. Talk about a blessed experience. Therefore, I got to cross of #4 - be a bridesmaid

Also, I updated the list and added a numero 17. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a little girl to stay overnight in a lighthouse. So, sometime during my twenties, I plan to spend the night in one!

I’m loving these goals, and the fact that they are all things I will accomplish by myself in my twenties. Sure, some people can come along for the ride, but these are all tasks that can be completed solitarily. You can find my full list here. Only 3 more goals until the list is complete and all there is to do is cross them off.

The 20’s Project

This is an idea I found on one of my favorite blogs (meggielynn). I think it’s an admirable idea, and while I already have a bucket list, a list of things I would like to accomplish in my 20’s is something I find much more doable. This is basically a list of 20 things I want to do in my twenties.

While I’m already a couple of years in, I just believe that fact will make this list even more challenging and fun.

Note: Each item can only be dependent on me. Therefore, things that make me dependent on someone else will not be put on this list (ie: marriage). This does not mean that I will do every item on this list alone, it just means that I won’t need to rely on another person to accomplish this list. This list will be ongoing. I’m not sure of everything I want to put on this list yet, and some items might change.

I encourage you all to steal this idea also, and make lists of your own. It’s very therapeutic, and helps to put what you want from life into perspective.

  2. Order breakfast in bed at a fancy hotel.
  3. Ride a motorcycle.
